China Criticize of approaching SpaceX setllite near it's setllite - International

China has accused the United States of "dangerous behavior" after the Chinese space station and Elon Musk's company, SpaceX, twice came close to dangerously close to each other.  According to a note submitted by China to the UN Space Agency, China's new space station Tia Ngung had to relocate to avoid a satellite sold by Starlink in July and October.  The note said that this posed a threat to the lives and health of the crew on the space station.  A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said during a routine briefing yesterday that the United States had ignored its obligations under international agreements and endangered the lives of astronauts.  Starlink is actually part of SpaceX, which aims to provide Internet access to most parts of the earth via about 2,000 satellites.

SpaceX is also a US company, separate from the US military and civilian space agency NASA.  But China has said in a note to the United Nations that member states of the Outer Space Treaty Organization are also responsible for the actions of their non-governmental organizations. SpaceS did not respond to a request for comment.  Beijing's complaint about Starlink sparked criticism of Chinese social media or Per Apex X and its founder, Elon Musk, which is very popular in China.  The hashtag has received over 90 million views on Twitter-style social networking platform V.  One user wrote that it is ironic that the Chinese bought Tesla and gave Elon Musk a drink so that he would be a Starlink in space and (almost) get out of the Chinese space station in space.  Nathan McDowell of the Harvard Amnesty International Center for Easter and Physics said: "We've been seeing an increase in such incidents ever since StarLink began to go into space.  He said that in any case, the Chinese space station could be completely destroyed and all the people on board could be killed.
